On passion...

Strong emotion is not passion.
Being happy one minute, and angry the next is not passion -
that is volatility,
that is emotional instability,
that is incompatibility.

Hurt is not a part of passion -
a person's ability to hurt you is not dependent on your love for them.
Put another way,
you don't have to love someone for them to have the power to hurt you.

Fighting with someone does not display passion -
passion is above that.

Passion is not what the rest of the world sees.

So, what is passion?

Passion is when it feels like your heart has stopped beating,
but you still feel the blood pounding in your ears.

Passion is when a kiss stops time.

Passion is telepathy, or the semblance thereof.

Passion is the excitement you feel when watching words come from another's lips.

Passion is being fierce and gentle at the same time.

Passion is when you can't hold back.
Passion is when you don't want to hold back.
Passion is when holding back would kill you.
